View VM

Overview

You can view virtual machines that are standalone or part of a vApp.

You can view virtual machines in a grid view or in a card view.

Procedure

  1. On the Virtual Data Center dashboard screen, click the card of the virtual data center you want to explore and from the left panel, select Virtual Machines.

2. You can select grid view or card view by select:

To view the virtual machines in a grid view, click

The list of virtual machines displays in a grid view or as a list of card View.

View VM in grid view:

3. From the grid view, click the three vertical dots on the left of a virtual machine, to display the actions you can take for the selected virtual machine.

4. To access the console for the guest operating system of the virtual machine, click on VM Console.

5. To view and edit the details for a virtual machine, click VM’s name.

6. From the card view, click the Action to display the actions you can take for the selected virtual machine.

7. To access the console for the guest operating system of the virtual machine, click on VM Console.

8. To view and edit the details for a virtual machine, click Details.
