I. OVERVIEW:
Bring disk to Offline in Windows OS.
Confirm that disk’s status = offline in Windows OS and provide disk information to support team (they will support on infrastructure side - optional).
Validate again on Windows OS.

On Disk Management:
Right-click the disk name > Offline
...
Validate disk status:
Disk status = Offline and it will disappear on volume table.
